- קוּקְיָאנֵיm. pl. name of parasite worms, 1) in man. Ber.36a קשה לק׳ (some ed. לקוּקָאנֵי; ed. Sonc. לקוּרְקְיָאנֵי) it is injurious because it begets worms (tape-worms?). Sabb.109b לקוקאיני ed. (Ms. M. קורקקנו; Ms. O. a. Ar. קוּקָנֵי) as a remedy for worms. 2) in fish (Rashi: in cattle). Ḥull.67b (Ms. M. קיקני, קוּקָנֵי; Ar. ed. Koh. קוקני, ed. pr. קוּקָאנֵי); Yalk. Lev. 537 קיקאני.
